Ziggurat Interactive have announced the name of the upgraded versions of BloodRayne 1 & 2 as well as its release date, which is just a few weeks away!
A Blast from the Past
The BloodRayne games are two classics of the PS2 and original Xbox era. The first game, released in 2002, takes place in the 1930's and sees you take on Nazis in Argentina.
BloodRayne 2 takes place in the present day and carries on in a similar vein to the original. Fans of the new Wolfenstein games will love BloodRayne, it's a classic arcade hack and slasher.
Rayne: Remastered
BloodRayne's remasters will have "Terminal Cut" in their names, in honour of Terminal Reality, who originally developed the titles. Both BloodRayne and BloodRayne 2 will release on 20th November 20.
If you own a copy of the original games on Steam, you won't have to pay to upgrade!
These are not ground-up remasters, rather versions with updated textures, graphics, and a better game engine. Cinematics are noticeably improved though, as they're now able to support up to 4K resolutions.
