The wait for the highly anticipated Assassin's Creed Valhalla is almost upon us.
Ubisoft recently confirmed that the game had gone gold and now they've confirmed the details of their day one patch.

Day One Patch Notes (Update 1.01)
A day one update implements the work the game developers have been doing between the game going gold (being completed) and release day.
Ubisoft's day one patch for Assassin's Creed Valhalla will include the following:
- Fine-tuned the balancing of the game
- Improved performance and stability
- Miscellaneous bug fixes

It looks like Ubisoft are keeping their cards close to their chest on this one as the patch notes don't give much away at all!
However, we can all find comfort in the fact that Ubisoft has completed the game and finalised the day one patch way ahead of schedule.
File Size
The new patch is set to be 2.9GB on PS4 - we expect it to be a similar size on the Xbox One and PC also.
With the game already at approximately 50GB (according to this Microsoft listing), any updates will only increase that!
The recent post-launch trailer and DLC trailer revealed that Valhalla will have two expansions which will transport us to Ireland and Paris.
It's fair to assume that this game is going to end up being pretty hefty, so you might want to start looking at upgrading your hard drive!
