There have been a ton of rumours circulating in recent weeks about Ubisoft's upcoming title, Assassin's Creed Valhalla.
We know for a fact that that we're preparing for a Viking-era game that will feature plenty of combat and sailing.
However, rather than a central focus on levelling up your character (like in previous entries), Creative Director Ashraf Ismail has explained that the main focus of the game will be on "obtaining power".
Beyond this official information, very little is known about the game, but an unofficial leak has just surfaced allegedly containing some of the upcoming game's achievement system.

Achievements
The information in question originates from 4chan and it has since been deleted, so it must be met with a rather large pinch of salt.
MORE MYTH THAN MAN: "Have all equipment slots be legendary equipment or better"
The achievements are worded in such a way that they corroborate with confirmed details of Valhalla's plot, so try your best to remain impartial.
TRUE ASSASSIN: "Remove the templar presence from all regions"
There are achievements for killing certain mythological beasts like the Kraken, Nidhoggr.
BAD REPUTATION: "Have a massive bounty in any kingdom"
We can also see some references to Odin and a creature known as Vedrfolnir, a hawk that could serve as a companion to Jora.
BERSERKER: "Kill 10 enemies in a fight without taking any damage"
There are more screenshots containing the rest of the alleged achievements for Valhalla, and you can find them here.
Obtaining Power
Earlier, we mentioned that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla's appeal lies in how players will have to achieve power to improve their skills and abilities throughout the game.
CUSTOM MERCENARIES: You will be able to take home riches when your raider is borrowed by a friend
While Valhalla's predecessors relied on some more traditional RPG mechanics through which players could level up, the next title will be different.

In a recent interview with Game Informer, Creative Director Ashraf Ismail said:
“In terms RPG and player progression, we wanted a fresh take on it. We wanted something that’s more anchored in the world.”
“Every piece of gear you find is unique. You can upgrade each piece of gear. If you wish to carry the same piece of gear to the end of the game, you can. Or if you want to collect everything, that’s up to you.“
