Arcane, the Netflix hit based around Riot's Piltover and Zaun from League of Legends, now has a brand new making-of series which will look through the production, delivery and challenges encountered when making the show.
The show follows the iconic beginnings and family ties between champions like Jinx, Vi, Caitlyn, Jayce, and Viktor with many other champions also developing. Whilst living in an era of unrest, the characters deal with the consequences of political differences between Piltover and Zaun.
With the success of the show, the community wonder how much work has gone into it. This is why the release of Bridging the Rift will be such a pivotal moment for Riot fans.

Arcane Successes
Co-produced by Riot Games and French animation studio Fortiche Production, the series quickly became #1 in Netflix views upon its release in November 2021. It held the top spot for three weeks in a row and reached the top 10 in 52 countries with a rare 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
The smallest studio working on Arcane of about 15-20 people averaged at about 3.5 seconds of footage a week. With this incredibly detailed pace of work, it can be seen why the show won so many awards.
It won Best TV Show/Consumer Media, Best Character Design and Best Screenplay, among others. So, Bridging the Rift will showcase the hard work that went into making such a successful show.
Where and how can I watch it?
Bridging the Rift will be available from August 4 and can be watched on the Riot Games official YouTube channel.
It will tell the story of how Arcane came to be for five weeks with a new episode every Thursday between August 4 and September 1 2022.
The second season of this YouTube series has also been confirmed, but we are yet to hear of any release dates.
