Apex Legends arrives on Nintendo Switch tomorrow, having been announced at EA Play last year.
The battle royale is at its best when playing with friends, so players are understandably wondering if the feature will come to the handheld hybrid version.
Will Apex Legends Have Crossplay on Switch?
In short, yes, Apex Legends will have crossplay from launch on Nintendo's system.
Back at the EA Play event during which the Switch version was revealed, the publisher also revealed that crossplay would be coming to the title, including the upcoming port.

They said: "This fall you’ll be able to squad up no matter what platform your friends prefer - Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Switch, or on PC via Origin and Steam."
Therefore, no matter what platform your friends are playing on when you jump into Apex Legends on Switch, you'll be able to squad up with them.

Cross Progression
While crossplay is a feature that's included, cross-progression is not.
If you've been playing Apex Legends on another platform over the years, you will not be able to load it up on Switch and continue your progression.

You'll have to make a new character and start from scratch once more. Therefore, keep this in mind before jumping into Apex Legends on Switch.
