When is ranked split 2 in Apex Legends Season 15?

The first split of the season has already been going on much longer than usual. Despite the holidays, we are a couple of weeks behind on when ranks would normally reset, although Respawn has promised this won't be the case in the future.

Apex Legends Ranked Split 2 starts later than normal, on January 17, 2023, at 10 am PT / 1 pm ET / 6 pm GMT. This would take the first split to around 76 days long, much more than the usual 45-50 days we have come to expect.

We have also come to expect a rank reset at the beginning of each new Season and each new split. However, in Split 2, your rank will only be reset by 1 rank (four divisions), rather than 1.5 (or six divisions) as it was previously.

At the start of the next season, you will be granted rewards based on your highest ranking across both splits.

Season 15 Split 2 Ranked Maps

The first split of Apex Legends Season 15 has taken place on Broken Moon, the brand new map and homeworld of Catalyst. There's still time to play some games there if you haven't had a chance to try the largest map we've seen to date.

There is no confirmed information about which map we can expect from split two just yet. That being said, Respawn has said that it will likely take place on Olympus.

Olympus has been absent for quite a while, so seeing it return to the rotation would be a nice nostalgia trip for Apex Legends fans.
