Latest - Apex Legends Season 10 Update Is Live Now
The Apex Legends Season 10 update went live at 6pm BST/1pm ET on August 3, which is now.
If there are any server issues, as there were with the release of Season 9, you might encounter some issues getting into the game, but fingers crossed there won't be.
Full Season 10 Patch Notes Released
Finally, the full patch notes for Apex Legends Season 10 have been released. Since they're huge, we didn't want to include them all here, so that you're not missing all of the other important information, you can check them out on EA's website.
They go over how all of the new features introduced in Emergence work, what weapon balance changes have come with the update, and a whole lot more.
Emergence Battle Pass Free Rewards Teased
Respawn Entertainment slipped up a little bit and revealed some information about the Season 10 Battle Pass ahead of time. In relation to free rewards, the following text has been added:
" Bloodhound Character Skin, 7 Apex Packs, 11 Weapon Skins, 4 Load Screens, Season 10 Win Trackers for all Legends, 1 Music Pack, 300 Apex Coins, Season Badge"
The free Bloodhound Character Skin is most likely the Nordic appearance we saw in the Gameplay Trailer.
What's interesting though is there appear to be spaces for imagery and videos that are currently blank online. We can imagine these will be updated soon, but it looks like the text may have been added prematurely. Expect to see more from Apex Legends' Season 10 offerings closer to launch.
Emergence adds Seer, the Rampage, and more
We know about all the major features of Apex Legends Season 10. Here's what Respawn Entertainment had to say about them below:

" World's Edge is on the brink of some major changes...stay tuned."
Ranked Arenas Are Here
Ranked Arenas have also been added to the game in the Emergence update.
Ranked Arenas features a separate MMR and Rank system to Ranked BR, but it won't take you long to pick up if you understand how Ranked BR works in Apex Legends. The win-lose nature of Arenas also makes calculating rank and awarding Arena Points (AP) a simpler system. If you win, you get AP. If you lose, you don't.
The following maps are going to be featured in the Ranked Arenas map rotation:
- Party Crasher;
- Phase Runner;
- Overflow;
- Hillside - Kings Canyon
- Dome - World's Edge
- Oasis - Olympus
These are the same maps as the standard Arenas playlist, but they will change on the hour rather than every 15 minutes. In addition to this, Ranked Arenas is not going to feature a Ranked Split like Ranked BR.
