One of the issues most frustrating Apex legends players at the moment is an audio glitch.
The glitch means that at certain times, enemy footsteps don’t produce any audio.
Rightfully so, this has made many players angry and hesitant to play the game; what’s the point in a 7:1 surround sound headset if there’s nothing to hear?
Let’s take a look at what these developers said now!
The Update
Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like we’ll have a fix very soon.
Director Chad Grenier went to Reddit to share his thoughts on the frustrating issue for players, and what they are doing in attempts to fix it.
He stated that, “the team is searching for a solution” and that the audio bug is “a known issue”.
He also mentioned that when testing the latest update internally, the issue wasn’t noticed.
This means that the team now has to try and find the issue, and fix it, all on a live version of the game, causing as few issues as possible for the playerbase.
Busy Respawn
The team are already busy preparing for the launch of Season 7 on November 10, which is sure to add a host of exciting content to the game.
Additionally, they are currently working on a Nintendo Switch version of the game as well as cross-play.
Neither has a set date for launch, but ESRB has rated the game, meaning that it could arrive any day now.
