A pioneering vitamin company has invented a bespoke nutritional 'stack' aimed at gamers looking to boost their performance.
Supposedly, munching down on this squishy combination of high-impact ingredients could help boost your ability with the controller –making you sharper, more focused and alert.
It's made by a company called Nourished, who use revolutionary 3D-printing methods to create these custom-made chewy vitamins.
According to the Birmingham based boffins, this also makes it the world’s first truly customisable and personalised 3D-printed nutritional product.
If you're a little sceptical, then perhaps you should give this piece from the Daily Mail a read. Or watch the below video showing how some people far smarter than me managed to make this bite-sized nutritional treat:
At the heart of the story is a warning about the sort of supplement gimmicks you might see every day on Instagram and elsewhere.
But according to Daniel O’Shaughnessy - co-director of the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (bant.org.uk) - the small 3D printed supplements from Nourished are actually the real deal.
To quote the paper:
"When our nutrition expert Daniel examined my personalised 3D supplements from Nourished, he confirmed that it contained high-quality ingredients suitable for me and that 3D-printing them worked. In the new world of eye-catching vitamins, just because something looks like a gimmick doesn’t mean it is."

Those curious for more details about how it works needn't worry, James Walker Head of New Product Development at Nourished explained to us how the specific ingredients may help you notch up your KD ratio in Call of Duty and more games.
"Our High-Impact Gamer Nutrients are carefully crafted with ingredients such as Vitamin A which supports eyesight and vision, maca powder and ginseng which have been shown in studies to boost energy levels, and tart cherry which is used by elite athletes to improve endurance."
More specifically, the Gamer Stack has been carefully formulated with the following ingredients:
- Vitamin A: an essential nutrient that will help protect your eyes from the strain (and other negative effects) of blue light, improves vision in dim light, helps defend against illness and infection, and prevents age-related eyesight degradation.
- Vegan Vitae-algae D3: supports immunity, aids mood regulation, and helps to support cognitive function and nervous systems.
- Vitamin B12: increases energy levels, helps regulate moods and reduce stress, and helps to improve sleep.
- Resveratrol: has been shown in studies to slow cognitive decline.
- Tart Cherry: has been shown to improve endurance, and cognitive brain function.
- Ginseng: increases energy, and improves cognitive function.
- Maca Powder: has been shown to boosts energy levels, and enhance memory and brain functionality.
Naturally, healthy living doesn't come cheap, with the stack costing £29.99 for a one-month supply, which can also be ordered as a rolling subscription delivered to your door.
You won't find this one in Boots, but if you're lucky Selfridges online might have some (though they're currently sold out).
