Apex Legends Season 7 is only hours out!
Let's go over where you should land on its new map, Olympus, to get the best loot, vehicles, and more.
Apex Legends Season 7
Apex Legends Season 7 introduces tons of new content to the game, including a new legend Horizon, new balance changes, and new map Olympus.
Because of this new map introduction, you'll have to be prepared, and understand where you need to go on Olympus.
So let's get to it.
Where to Drop on Olympus
Apex Legends matches can be almost entirely decided by where you land. And on Olympus, this is certainly no different.
A good landing is the difference between kitting up with awesome loot and fighting for your life to pick up some scraps.

So where should you land on Olympus?
Bonzai Plaza - Reverie Lounge
Bonzai Plaza is an iconic location on Olympus, featuring tons of unique places to get into fights. The best place for high tier loot, however, is the Reverie Lounge. To get to the Reverie Lounge, you'll have to work your way up or down many tight hallways across two buildings.
This is where you'll see a lot of close-quarter combat on Olympus. But if you prepare for it, and approach thing strategically, you can leave the Reverie Lounge with some truly advanced high tier loot that can propel you to a victory.
Do keep in mind that choosing this landing location is signing up for fighting in likely the most highly trafficked starting location on Olympus.
This means it isn't the safest choice by any means. But for players looking to claim a victory and see some action, this is the perfect spot.
Hydroponics
Hydroponics will be an underrated drop location on Olympus in Apex Legends Season 7. It has a sense of separation from the rest of the map, and with long open areas and plenty of smaller structures to loot, it can mean a very mobile start.
Most zones on Olympus have particular loot hubs players will want to target, but this isn't the case with Hydroponics.
The zone lends itself to similar loot strength all across, and rewards players for quickly traversing the broad and open areas strategically before moving on.

For players looking for more options and less danger, Hydroponics might be the best place to drop on Olympus.
The Rift
The Rift is perhaps the most interesting part of Olympus.
The Rift has many buildings surrounding its outer rim that players can pick up some nice initial loot at. But once you get your supplies, the real fun and challenge comes in approaching The Rift itself.
In the center of The Rift, a ball of energy functions as a teleporter for areas all around Olympus. To enter it, simply run underneath it.
Players that enter it will be transported elsewhere, opening the door for surprise attacks, fast travel across the map, and quickly locking down different loot locations.

The nature of the portals shakes up combat tremendously, adding many layers of decision-making to gameplay.
The Rift may not have the strongest loot, but it will have the most exciting and unique gameplay. And that's something many Apex Legends players will chase every time.
