Twitch Drops have finally come to Apex Legends

Following a host of other EA games, Twitch Drops have finally been revealed for Apex Legends, the hit battle royale shooter.

Anyone who plays the game will be able to get in-game rewards simply for getting involved with streams of the competitive events.

Below, we'll run you through how exactly you get the Twitch rewards.

How to Get Apex Legends Twitch Drops

EA has revealed that Twitch Drops for Respawn's game will start when the Winter Circuit Playoffs do on March 27.

You'll need to watch the streams on Apex Legends' official Twitch channel and players on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC will be able to get rewards.

Below are the steps you need to follow to connect your Twitch and EA Accounts to make sure you're eligible to get the drops.

  1. Link your Gamertag, Nintendo Switch Online Account or PlayStation ID to your EA Account.
  2. Now, go to Twitch and sign in to your account, making sure it's the one you'll use to watch the streams on.
  3. Enter your EA Account info on the Connect with Twitch screen and click Next.

Once you've done that, you'll simply need to log into your Twitch account when the streams are live and keep watching, making sure you're not clicking off the tab or closing anything.
