Summer Splash Sale headed to Apex Legends alongside Thrillseekers Event

The Thrillseekers Event is now live and Apex Legends Season 10 won't be far behind, but Thrillseekers isn't the only thing that's arrived today. Apex Legends' Summer Splash Sale is here and we have everything you need to know about what this means below.

What Is The Summer Splash Sale?

To put it plainly, the Summer Splash Sale is a limited-time Apex Legends Store event that's going to mark the return of "fan-favourite skins - including Youngblood and Voidwalker!"

Cynically, it's Respawn Entertainment trying to get you to spend more money on Apex Coins for Apex Legends.

That isn't to say it's a bad thing, though. There are quite a few fantastic deals on offer as each Legend Skin appears to come in some sort of Bundle with A LOT of Apex Packs.

As you can see above, you can get the Voidwalker Pack Bundle for just under 4,000 Apex Coins. It comes with the Voidwalker Wraith skin and 40 Apex Packs. That's quite a lot of Apex Packs.

When Does It Start?

The Summer Splash Sale starts at the same time as Apex Legends' next event (Thrillseekers) on July 13th. It went live at 10:00 PST / 13:00 EST / 18:00 BST, just as all update do.

Unlike the Thrillseekers Event, though, it isn't lasting the full three weeks. The Summer Splash Sale is only going to be around for two weeks.

There's going to be daily deals, but that means you only have until July 27th to buy anything that catches your eye.

"All these cosmetics are Event Limited. They may return in a future event or promotion."

ThrillSeekers Event Summary

We've been mentioning the Thrillseekers Event, but what does that even mean? Well...

Apex Legends is received an Arenas-focused event today that's due to continue for three weeks. There's new Legend skins added to celebrate, a new Arenas map, and a three-week Reward Tracker with dozens of great rewards.

Respawn Entertainment also shared a reveal trailer, which you can check out below:
