Apex Legends Season 8 is just a few days away, and it's going to live up to its "Mayhem" title!
Respawn Entertainment has already revealed the new legend coming to Apex Legends, Fuse, and he's an explosive addition to the game.
But that isn't all that's in store for players in Apex Legends Season 8!
Latest News - Celebration Event
To celebrate the 2 year anniversary of Apex Legends, which also coincides with the start of Season 8, there will be a Celebration Event.
Usually, with each Celebration Event, a new Heirloom is released, giving players the opportunity to grab some new rare items.
This time it seems that players may be granted 150 Heirloom Shards to get a free Heirloom that is already in the game.

According to data miner Shrugtal, to celebrate the anniversary of Apex Legends, there will be a lot of new skins and items to unlock and purchase, but they will mainly be recolours of current skins, rather than brand new cosmetic items.
Season 8 Launch Trailer Revealed
Respawn Entertainment are going to kick off the massive Apex Legends Season 8 with a Mayhem Launch Trailer!
The trailer is set to go live on 2 February - and you don't want to miss it.

Season 8
We have had our first peek at Apex Legends Season 8 thanks to this trailer from publishers Respawn Entertainment.
In it we see the new character Fuse introduced and can begin to learn what we can expect from 'Mayhem'.
New Map
We know that the map will be changing in Season 8 after Respawn’s release.
EA has also confirmed this. “Fuse's entrance has dramatically reshaped Kings Canyon. Stay tuned to learn more”.
It looks like Kings Canyon will be seeing change for the third time, but we will have to wait and see just what the changes bring.
Weapons
“Salvo’s most popular weapon, this lever-action rifle picks apart the opposition with hard-hitting rounds”.
Say hello to the 30-30 Repeater.

Fuse
The latest character to join the Apex Legend ranks.
Respawn Entertainment announced a brand-new legend, known as Fuse, will be coming to Apex Legends with the Season 8 update next month.
A new trailer titled "Stories from the Outlands" was released by Respawn, giving us our first look at Fuse and what to expect from the upcoming season, which is called "Mayhem".
No Fill Coming In Season 8
Apex Design Director Jason McCord has confirmed that a No Fill option will be coming to the game in Season 8.
However, it won't be available at launch, and will instead be implemented later on.

Switch
Currently, Apex Legends is available on PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC/Steam.
However, the game will be coming to Nintendo Switch some time in 2021 according to Game Director Chad Grenier.
