Although it took a little time to get off the ground, Among Us has quickly became one of the bigger games in the world. This is, no doubt, due to its cheap price point and undeniable charm. If you've been waiting for the console release to play it for yourself, here's what you should know about whether Among Us has crossplay.
Among Us Console Release Date
After release on PC years ago, Among Us finally launches on Consoles tomorrow, December 14th. This has been something in the works for a long time and the team have been hard at work with new maps, modes and even a VR version of the game.
Although it's a pretty huge step, this seems like just the start for Innersloth.
Does Among Us Console have crossplay?
Yes. Among Us has full crossplay from the very start. You won't have to wait for any additional updates or changes to get in there. As well as this, if you play on Xbox, you can pick up Among Us as part of your Xbox Game Pass subscription.
You will have to pay on PlayStation 4 and 5 but its a pretty cheap game so it shouldn't take too much out of your holidays budget.
How many players can play on one map?
The great thing about playing Among Us is there's a degree of customizability to it. You can start a game with a minimum of 4 players, having only one imposter. If you want something bigger, you can play with as many as 10 total players.
In the settings, you can then decide how many imposters you would like, alongside the map and types of tasks you will be doing. It seems likely that the game will only get bigger as time goes on. The team show no sign of slowing down.
