Xbox Series X Stock Update
If you're still struggling to get your hands on an Xbox Series X, things should start to get a bit easier over the next few weeks. That isn't to say that we can guarantee that you'll be able to get one, but the stock shortages look like they're starting to ease up a tad.
We don't have anything too solid to report, but here's what we know from "insider accounts" today.
The Microsoft Store should have a slow, but steady, drip of consoles throughout the next few months.
It also looks like Amazon currently has stock. This will most likely sell out quite quickly, but we know that places like GAME and Argos have had sporadic stock drops over the last few weeks.
As always, it's worth keeping an eye on StockInformer for Xbox Series X stock as this automatically updates regularly with information from a number of major UK retailers.
New Free Play Days
You like free games, right?
Xbox has added two sports titles to their Free Play Days promotion this weekend and all you need is an active Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription to play them!
NBA 2K21 and TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 2 are going to be free to play until May 16th on Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
In addition to this, both games and their related additional content will be discounted! So, if you like one of them now is the perfect time to try and buy.
Added Game Pass Titles
It's also a good day if you're an Xbox Game Pass member. The service has just added a couple of classics that you can now download and play for free with your subscription.
Firstly, Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remastered is now available to play.
Double Fine's iconic Psychonauts has also just been added to Xbox Game Pass.
Just Cause 4 has been added to Xbox Game Pass for PC, too!
If you've ever wanted to rustle cattle with your buddies, you can on Xbox Game Pass. Red Dead Online has also just been added to the service!
Oh, and Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance has been confirmed to be coming on June 22! Pretty neat, right?
Anything Else?
Xbox has started their 20th Anniversary celebrations over the last 24 hours, but there isn't a whole lot to talk about just yet. They did share some epic Halo art though, which could be hinting at something but there hasn't been anything too major revealed just yet.
We expect to hear more about how Xbox is going to celebrate 20 years over the coming weeks.
In addition to this, Mass Effect Legendary Edition has launched today and fans around the world can look forward to jumping back into the fight against The Reapers and the comforting hum of the Normandy's engines.
It has also recently been announced that Knockout City is going to be getting a ten-day free trial when it launches on May 21st! This dodgeball-arcade-deathmatch party game looks like a lot of fun.
