Below, we've got all of the Xbox news you need for April 29, where you can buy an Xbox console today, and what games are releasing.

Halo Infinite PC Update & Crossplay

The big Xbox news for today centres around Halo Infinite. In a breakdown of Microsoft's changing approach to PC gaming, the publisher talked about Halo Infinite and how it'll work on the system.

They wanted the next game in the long-running series to be excellent on PC. They say in the blog post that they want to ensure that Infinite is:

"A premier PC experience, including highly desired features such as support for ultrawide and super ultrawide screens, triple keybinds, a wide variety of advanced graphics options and more. We want to make sure that Halo is serving the PC community."

They also go on to confirm that Halo Infinite will support both crossplay and cross-progression when it launches. They say:

"We’re excited to announce Halo Infinite will support multiplayer cross-play and cross-progression when it releases later this year. That means if you’re playing on PC, you can play with your friends on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S."

Series X Stock Updates

Excitingly, various Xbox Series X bundles are in stock now at GAME in the UK. You can check out all the options here.

The bundles include All Access, which allows you to pay for the console in monthly instalments.

In the USA, nothing has become available today yet. However, they dropped at Gamestop yesterday, so keep an eye out for any stragglers today.

New Game Releases

Unfortunately, there is nothing of note out today on Xbox.

With Returnal coming to PS5 tomorrow and New Pokemon Snap coming to Switch, Xbox players will be a little left out this week when it comes to new things to play.
