WWE tagteam power rankings: week of November 8, 2017

See which tagteams have made the biggest impact across WWE this week!

Rather than separating weekly power rankings by brand, RealSport is bringing Raw, SmackDown Live, and 205 Live together to see which stars are making the biggest impact regardless of brand! We’ve narrowed it down to the top five, so it’ll take a big impact to break into the list each week. Here are this week’s rankings for the top five tagteams of WWE.

  1. 5 THE SHIELD (-4)

In a confusing turn of events The Shield lost their tagteam championships to The Bar. However, The New Day were involved which means it is highly likely that we will get the dream six man tag matchup of The New Day against The Shield. This is the only situation that saves me from crying a river over not seeing The Usos go up against The Sheild. Strap in wrasslin' fans, The Shield against The New Day will be a match for the ages. Survivor Series is looking beyond stacked!

It seems like the transformation into heels is all but complete for Gable and Benjamin. To be honest, it all feels a little out of nowhere, but it makes complete sense. The Usos did exactly what Chad Gable did this week to Chad Gable when they were feuding with American Alpha. It makes sense for Chad to want to get his revenge for his injury. However, it makes little sense for Chad Gable to actually act upon those urges. Due to my love of all participants in this feud I'm going to let it play out a little more before I get mad.

It has been a good week for The New Day, who put Monday Night Raw under siege once again and cost their biggest threat at Survivor Series a spot in the Champion vs Champion tagteam match. However, The New Day made one vital mistake, they upset the only three man team more dominant than them in recent memory. With Roman looking to be back next week, we can assume this ends up in a match between the two teams. Whilst this could easily spell a loss for The New Day, it is still a big time match for them which no one was expecting.

  4. 2 THE USOS (=)

The Usos took an L this week but the important thing is they kept their championships ahead of their match against The Bar. With half of the team looking injured due to a chop block, how will this all play out? Will The Usos even make it to Survivor Series, or will Chad and Shelton go in their place? WWE creative has done a good job of keeping us all on our toes heading into Survivor Series, so we can only watch and find out!

  5. 1 THE BAR (+3)

Thanks to an assist from The New Day, once again The Bar are Raw Tag Champions. It makes sense to have them be the champions of the division - hey are the only team credible enough to hold the belts other than The Shield; however, The Shield can feud with put together teams from outside the division and make it a big match without the belts. This might be the best move, and as long as we get The Shield vs The New Day we will all be fine. Let's not forget, The Bar vs The Usos will be nothing short of stellar
