WWE 2K22 development video shows entrance creation

WWE 2K22 developers have promised behind the scenes looks at the creation of the upcoming game, and that's continued with their newest reveal.

Following the struggles of WWE 2K20 at launch and the cancellation of WWE 2K21, the developers with Visual Concepts and WWE Games have committed to giving fans and gamers a behind the scenes look this year.

The first look at these behind the scenes development videos even included Ric Flair in what appeared to be footage of him being scanned for inclusion in the game.

Now, the development team has released a more in-depth look at the various stages of creating Rey Mysterio's entrance in the title.

We don't know an official release date for WWE 2K22, but the most likely day to expect the title based on previous years is October 19, 2021.

That means we're likely to get several more backstage glimpses as the development of WWE 2K22, which could continue to go a long way to repairing player confidence in the series.

Fans vote for their WWE 2K22 cover star picks

On top of letting fans have a behind the scenes look, we've also seen their voices get to be a part of the conversation as well.

The official WWE on Fox Twitter account recently held a vote to let fans pick WWE 2K22 male and female cover stars.

While these weren't official, it does keep winners Sasha Banks and Drew McIntyre in the conversation as potential favorites to get that honor.

An exact reveal date isn't known, but we should know who will be on the cover of WWE 2K22 in the next few months.
