WWE 2K22 is just two months away, but it may be less than two months if the latest leak turns out to ring true.

After weeks without info, one report has allegedly leaked the WWE 2K22 cover, editions, pre order bonuses, release date, and more.

WWE 2K22 leak reportedly reveals cover athlete

WWE 2K22 has been confirmed by 2K as having a March 2022 release date for some time, but the latest leak goes much further.

The report comes via the following tweet from Nils Ahrensmeier of Technik News, and it appears to show Rey Mysterio featured prominently on the WWE 2K22 cover.

If true, this would be an exciting choice to go with a legend whose career spanned multiple generations of fans.

The covers themselves are stunning, and do seem to match up with the style expected based on the logos, but these still remain unconfirmed leaks.

While all eyes are on the WWE 2K22 cover in this potential leak, there were several other details reported by the same source in that Twitter thread.

Again, these are still unconfirmed details until 2K makes anything official, but it does appear the info came from leaked pre order listings based on what they're potentially revealing.

The leak stated that WWE 2K22 will get three editions: the WWE 2K22 Standard Edition, WWE 2K22 Deluxe Edition, and WWE 2K22 nWo 4-Life Edition.

They also stated that 3-Day Early Access would be available on March 8, 2022, likely exclusive for players who pre order a non-Standard Edition, though that detail was not mentioned.

If that early access date rings true, it would make the actual WWE 2K22 release date March 11, 2022, but again we have to wait for 2K to actually confirm that.

They also stated the pre order bonus would be a WWE 2K Undertaker Immortal Pack that includes Phantom Mask Undertaker, Lord of Darkness Undertaker, Boneyard Match Undertaker, MyFACTION EVO cards for Undertaker, and MyFACTION Perks and Bonuses.

That pack was mentioned as being included in the Deluxe Edition and nWo 4-Life Edition, so it may be specific to those editions and not available as a pre order bonus for those who pre order the Standard Edition.

It's not clear how long we'll have to wait to get the official word about these details to know whether the leak rings true, but the latest WWE Games tweet makes it seem like that might be sooner rather than later.
