Monday Night Raw Preview: Show and Strowman in a Steel Cage?!

A massive steel cage match

Braun Strowman has already sent a strong message to Brock Lesnar about what he can expect during their Universal Championship match at No Mercy. This week he'll get another chance to deliver one in a colossal main event.

Strowman faces Big Show inside a steel cage. The last time these two behemoths squared off, the ring had to be reinforced before the match. What extra precautions will the ringside staff have to employ to prepare, and will they be able to contain these two competitors?

Can Jeff Hardy beat the odds again?

Last week, Jeff Hardy overcame the odds to win a Battle Royal to earn a shot at The Miz's Intercontinental Championship. This week will be a different story as the Charismatic Enigma will have Miz's wife Maryse and the entire Miztourage running interference to make sure the A-Lister keeps his belt.

Although Matt Hardy will be on his brother's side, that is not enough to overcome three separate superstars waiting to interfere. Will the numbers game influence the outcome of this title match?

Will the Cena-Reigns rivalry escalate to newer heights?

The contract signing for the mega match between John Cena and Roman Reigns might have been the most heated exchange of the year. The two didn't hold back in making the WWE Universe know how they feel towards one another.

If last week featured what could be the "Promo of the Year" for both competitors, will their buildup for their match at No Mercy escalate to newer heights this week?

The "Monster Among Women"

Nia Jax made her way to the ring last week to congratulate Alexa Bliss on recapturing the Raw Women's Championship from Sasha Banks. The celebration didn't last long, and Nia planted Bliss and made a huge statement about her role in the division moving forward. Will this put Nia Jax next in the line for a championship shot? How might this affect Sasha's rematch?

Emma indeed can be associated with the beginning of the women's revolution, and it looks like Mickie James has no choice but to agree. After beating James in singles action last week, Emma seems to strengthen her cause as James promised to tweet whatever Emma tells her to.

Though he lost a chance at the Intercontinental title, Elias seems to be walking his own path to success with his winning streak in singles action. Will his next stop lead him closer to a title shot?
