Being able to lift an opponent in WWE 2K23 adds a new weapon to your arsenal. It allows you to perform plenty of new attacks and moves you otherwise wouldn't be able to.

How To Lift An Opponent In WWE 2K23

Just like with plenty of other gameplay mechanics you will find in WWE 2K23, practice makes perfect.

Every time you lift your opponent, you will have a better understanding of how to pull off the move.

You will also know the moves that will damage your opponent the most when you have him lift up.

In the end, your goal is to cause as much damage as possible to your opponent and get closer to winning the match.

Before trying to lift your opponent, you should make sure he is tired.

By performing combos, heavy attacks, and light attacks, you will make your opponents tired.

You will also inflict a considerable amount of damage on them.

After making sure your opponent is tired, you have to initiate a grab by pressing Circle on PS5 or B on Xbox.

Then, press RB for Xbox or R1 for PlayStation to lift your opponent.

When you have your opponent lifted, you can use the left stick to change the position in which he is being lifted.

One thing you need to be careful about is the amount o time you spend lifting your opponents in WWE 2K23.

If you lift your adversary for too long, he will be able to reverse the move and gain control of the match.

So, be sure to lift your opponents, and proceed to execute the move you have in mind as quickly as possible.
