Some of the first PvE action players will encounter in World of Warcraft's newest expansion, Dragonflight, will be the Vault of the Incarnates raid.

Set to be introduced during Season 1 of expansion, shortly after its release, the raid will hold a total of eight bosses, with Raszageth the Storm-Eater as its final boss who along with the Primalists, infiltrated the Titan prison to unleash her siblings.

Vault of Incarnates will be the first of presumably multiple raids across Dragonflight. Here's when the Vault of Incarnates raid releases.

When does the Vault of the Incarnates raid release in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight?

Vault of the Incarnates releases during the week of Monday, December 12, 2022, as a part of Dragonflight Season 1.

ENTER THE VAULT: Traverse through the Vault of the Incarnates and stop Raszageth

As opposed to previous raid releases, this raid will go live immediately with all of its versions available—no more waiting for Mythic week. Its LFR version will remain on staggered release.

Here's the full release schedule:

  • Week of December 12: Normal, Heroic, and Mythic Vault of the Incarnates will open with the weekly maintenance for each region
  • Week of December 19: Vault of the Incarnates Raid Finder Wing 1 opens
  • Week of January 2: Vault of the Incarnates Raid Finder Wing 2 opens
  • Week of January 16: Vault of the Incarnates Raid Finder Wing 3 opens

When it comes to its bosses, Vault of the Incarnates will allow players to choose which bosses they want to encounter first via its wings. Upon defeating the first boss, Eranog, players will get to choose between two wings (left or right), each containing three bosses, there will be a third and final wing containing the raid's last boss, Raszageth the Storm-Eater.

The left wing will contain The Primal Council, Dathea, Ascended, and Broodkeeper Diruna, while the other contains Terros, Sennarth, the Cold Breath, and Kurog Grimtotem.
