It's been a month since World of Warcraft: Dragonflight officially launched.
Since then, after taking their first steps in the Dragon Isles, players have been doing their best to level up their characters and their new-fangled professions, enjoy the breathtaking scenery, and most important of all, get their hands on shiny brand-new gear.
In Dragonflight, there are several ways to gear up, but the main ones are usually via the Vault of the Incarnates raid and Mythic+. However, this week, players will get a chance to combine the two with the WoW Dragonflight Dungeon Event.

What to expect from the WoW Dragonflight Dungeon Event (Dec 27-Jan 2)
Starting on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 (Wednesday, December 8, 2022, for Europe) and ending on Tuesday, January 2, 2023 (Wednesday, January 3, for Europe) players can pick up the "Emissary of War" quest that will reward them with one piece of Heroic-level gear from Vault of the Incarnates.
All players have to do is complete four Mythic Dungeons. These can either be Dragonflight regular Mythic dungeons—commonly referred to as Mythic 0—or any Keystone dungeon.
The Heroic Vault of the Incarnates loot includes all types of loot and ranges from 402 item level for the earlier bosses to 411 item loot for bosses like Broodkeeper Diurna and Raszageth, the Storm-Eater, the raid's last boss. It's worth noting that, like Shadowlands expansion, the reward does not include tier pieces. This means that players can't get tier from the quest.
For players looking to get the best bang for their buck, they can forgo opening the Great Vault until they finish the quest. This allows them to circumvent receiving a possible duplicate, making sure they get the most amount of upgrades possible.
