Vault of the Incarnates will be the first raid players will encounter in World of Warcraft's next expansion, Dragonflight, as a part of Season 1.
Like any other raid, this one will be jampacked with loot, from the bosses themselves giving significant upgrades to BoE pieces that drop from the trash. There will be plenty of gear to go around.
This all sounds great, getting to progress your character even further, and feeling more powerful, but you're probably wondering what kind of loot is dropping from this raid, or better yet, what Item Level will it be.

Item Level in Vault of the Incarnates Loot in WoW Dragonflight
Not only will Vault of the Incarnates be a brand-new raid for players to enjoy, but it'll also be Blizzard's attempt and changing and experimenting with raid loot in general. It will be something completely different from Mythic+.
With the new raid, Personal Loot will be removed entirely in favor of Group Loot—which will be Need, Greed, or Pass. Also, trade restrictions will be removed, no longer will players have equal or higher item level to trade an item.
BoEs (Bind on Equip items) will no longer be dropping from random trash, instead, they have a once-a-week lockout to drop from Lieutenant-type trash which can guarantee several drops each raid. Additionally, the more important BoEs will include weapons to higher item level pieces.
When it comes to item level, certain bosses will have one item that intentionally drops at a higher item level. It does not function similarly to titanforging as the higher item level is always guaranteed. Lastly, there will be three item level tiers: Entry, Wind-End, and Final Bosses.
