World of Warcraft: Dragonflight pre-patch phase two has launched which means that players have begun making their Dracthyr Evokers and are participating in the Primal Storms event. Alongside that release, was the first batch of Twitch Drops, the Dragon Kite pet.

To commemorate the launch of the new expansion, the developers over at Blizzard Entertainment have added to the hype by giving players exclusive in-game goodies via Twitch Drops. From a now previously TCG-exclusive mount to a toy, there's plenty to enjoy from the World of Warcraft Twitch Drops. The first of these is the Dragon Kite pet.

How to get the Dragon Kite pet in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight

Beginning on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. PST—alongside the launch of phase two of the Dragonflight pre-patch—and ending on Friday, November 18, at 11:59 pm PST, players can get the Dragon Kite pet via Twitch Drops.

In order to get the Dragon Kite pet in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight you will have to watch at least four hours of WoW Dragonflight content on the popular streaming website, Twitch, while the Twitch Drop is active. Just look for your favorite content creator or streamer whose drops are active, they will usually indicate it via their stream title.

Make sure the hours you're watching count by having your and Twitch accounts linked. If you don't know how to or want to make sure they're linked, follow our steps below.

How to link and Twitch accounts

You'll want to make sure that your and Twitch accounts are linked in order for the hours watched to count.

Here's how to link the two:

  1. Visit
  2. Click on your "Account Settings" and visit the "Connections" tab
  3. Scroll down to the Twitch section at the bottom and click "Connect"
  4. Click "Authorize" and confirm that it went through
  5. That's it!

Once you've followed all of the steps your and Twitch accounts will be linked and your hours watched will count towards the corresponding Twitch Drop.
