The UFC 5 roster should be filled to the brim with incredible fighters that you can enter the octagon as. We should see some new additions as well.
With additions come subtractions as some fighters might not be available when UFC 5 is officially released.
So, let's go over the UFC 5 roster and some potential additions and subtractions.
Latest news - New features revealed
EA is going all-out with UFC 5. The game will make use of the Frostbite engine for the first time in the franchise and is packed with new features.
From improved blood & damage, both visually and functionally, that gives the game an M rating to updated submission systems and strikes to the addition of the fight doctor.

UFC 5 roster
Although we don't have official confirmation from EA regarding the official UFC 5 release date, we can begin to speculate who will fill the UFC 5 roster.
Plenty of fighters will be available and in UFC 4 the roster includes more than 50 fighters to choose from. We could see this list grow substantially larger when UFC 5 is released.

We can be sure that Shevchenko, Volkanovski, and Adesanya are in the game as they are cover stars, while current champions such as Leon Edwards, Jon Jones, and Alexa Grasso are almost certain to be in the game.
One of the big draws will be any of the legendary fighters. The likes of Conor McGregor, Anderson Silva, Georges St-Pierre, and Ronda Rousey will all be must-haves for the game.
Rousey may be unavailable due to her ties with WWE and appearance in WWE 2K23. But there will be plenty of other big names EA can lean on to bolster the roster.
UFC 5 release date
EA has finally announced the UFC 5 release date. The game is set to drop on 27 October after more than three years since UFC 4 came out.
Players buying the Deluxe Edition can get three days early access, which means playing from 24 October.
Cover stars confirmed
Being on the cover of your sport's flagship game is quite something. Three fighters have that honour this year, split across two editions of the game.
The Standard Edition of UFC 5 will feature two cover stars, with former flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko and current featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski sharing the cover.
The Deluxe Edition will have current middleweight champion Israel Adesanya as its cover star.
