Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was a little bit of a surprise hit a few years ago. Though many thought it would be good, they weren't quite anticipating a Game of the Year contender. With all this goodwill behind it, the world is waiting for the official announcement of the next game. Here's what we know about it so far.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Announcement

Being a bit of an open secret for some time, EA finally announced that they were working on three new Star Wars games with Respawn Entertainment earlier this year. Being the team behind the hugely popular Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, it was a given that one of those titles would be a sequel to it.

On his podcast, GamesBeat decides, Jeff Grubb announced that we would see the official unveiling at the Star Wars Celebration in May. He said:

"We’re gonna hear about that in May at Star Wars Celebration, is when that’s coming. So keep an eye out for that because that’s where it’s happening."

Star Wars Jedi Survivor Release Date

Although we have an official release, once again, Jeff Grubb has given us valuable insight here. In a recent tweet, he stated that he thinks Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will come out between February and March next year.

If this is true, the guess at a Star Wars Celebration announcement makes even more sense. This year, it is set to go live between May 26th to May 29. We could see an official trailer and announcement at any point over those days. If we don't see it then, it could still come next year, we may just have to wait a little while longer.

This is clearly a big game for the studio so they are likely putting in a lot of effort to get the announcement just right. It could take them a little time. If anything happens, we will update you right here.
