Star Wars video games are a massively popular bunch reaching to many different genres. These games will now join together under the newly formed Lucasfilm Games brand.
Let's go over the new announcement from Lucasfilm, and go over which games are now a part of the new group.
Lucasfilm Games Unites Star Wars Games
Whether you're a fan of FPS, RPGs, MMOs flying, or really any other genre of video games - there is likely a Star Wars game for you.
You'd be surprised at the sheer amount of successful Star Wars video game titles and series and their range of genres and gameplay experiences.
This list includes the more recent games like Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order and Star Wars Squadrons all the way to LEGO Star Wars series' and SWTOR.
But while these games seem very different, they will now all fall under the same brand: Lucasfilm Games.
To mark the creation of this new brand - Lucasfilm have given us an awesome video to show the sheer range of games that now fall under its new banner, which you can watch below.
The Future of Lucasfilm Games
All of this hype is very welcome as we wait for new Star Wars content (and in the lull after an exciting new season of The Mandalorian) - but what is next for Lucasfilm Games?
Star Wars titles like SWTOR, Star Wars Battlefront II, Star Wars: Squadrons, and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order still have some active players - but most of the fanbase is looking forward to the next announcement.
This is because there are no currently announced Star Wars games in development.
With the creation of Lucasfilm Games, however, we have high hopes that this will soon lead into a massive reveal.
