LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has just launched and it has immediately hooked into our nostalgia to provide one of the best gaming experiences of the year. It comes with an attention to detail and love of the series that is so evident. One of the ways it does this is through Mumble Mode. Here's what that is and how to unlock Mumble Mode in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.

What is Mumble Mode?

Mumble Mode is a callback to the classic Lego Star Wars games - replacing the nice new VO for mumble noises. This might leave some jokes out but that added mumble may make other moments better.

Mumble mode is probably at its best in the second playthrough of a game. Mopping up all those Kyberbricks, Datacards and more is made more entertaining when Luke, general grievous and Jar Jar are left without any real form of communication.

If you want to unlock Mumble Mode, you can do so from the very start of the game.

First, get into an episode of your choice and actually take control of a character. You just have to get past the prologue to be able to activate this mode.

Once you're in and have control, go into the menu and find the extra section at the very right. Normally, you need Datacards to unlock these but Mumble Mode doesn't require it.

Scroll down until you see Mumble Mode and activate it. You can turn this off and on at any point and it won't cost you any of your hard-earned studs. Outside of the VO, it doesn't appear to have any other effects on the game and the basic jokes are still the same. We'll update you right here if we spot anything to the contrary.
