Who is in Brazil's World Cup group 2022?

The 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar is fast approaching, with the fate of each side confirmed following the World Cup group stage draw.

As the most prolific side in the history of the competition, there is a sense of expectation on the shoulders of South American giants Brazil, who haven't won the big one since 2002.

They will be the top-ranked nation in Group G, but who will they come up against in Qatar?

Who is in Brazil's World Cup group?

Brazil have endured a tough few years on the World Cup front, failing to get further than the semi-finals in their last four competitions.

They fell to defeat at the quarter-final stage in three of those four tournaments, with their only semi-final appearance coming in 2014, when Germany famously fired seven goals past the Brazilians in their own back yard en-route to World Cup glory.

Brazil will meet Switzerland in the group stages in a repeat of the 2018 World Cup draw, nothing could split the two in a 1-1 draw in Russia.

The Selecao will also meet familiar foes Serbia for a second consecutive World Cup, the South Americans defeated the Europeans 2-0 in their 2018 meeting.

Completing the group is African giants Cameroon. The two sides met in the 2014 WC group stages, with a Neymar Jr double helping Brazil to a resounding 4-1 victory.

When will Brazil play their group stage fixtures?
