Which Premier League matches are on TV this weekend?

The Premier League will return to our screens this weekend after a packed midweek fixture schedule that produced some immense drama.

Erling Haaland notched his second successive hat-trick as Man City hammered Premier League new boys Nottingham Forest 6-0 at the Etihad, while Southampton shocked Chelsea in a 2-1 win.

There was further drama as teenager Fabio Carvalho netted in the eighth minute of injury time to earn Liverpool the three points against Newcastle.

Looking ahead to gameweek six, here are this weekend's televised matches.

Saturday

The Merseyside Derby will kick off this weekend's Premier League with Everton tasked with claiming their first league win of the season against their fiercest rivals.

Manchester City travel to Villa Park later that evening as they take on Steven Gerrard's Aston Villa. The former Liverpool captain is coming under increasing pressure from Villa fans following a dismal start to the season.

Finally, on Sunday, Brighton host 20th-placed Leicester City in the earlier kick-off with Manchester United vs Arsenal rounding off the weekend's games.
