Gareth Southgate's preparation for this winter's World Cup in Qatar steps up in June as England follows up their trip to Hungary with a game against historical rivals Germany.

This will be the first meeting between the two sides since June of 2021, when England claimed a 2-0 win to advance to the quarter-finals of the European Championships. Germany will be hoping for revenge when they welcome the Three Lions to the Allianz Arena.

June's international break contains two winnable games against European mainstays Hungary and a EURO final rematch against Italy, so a victory against Hansi Flick's side on matchday two will give England a great chance of topping the group.

This high-stakes encounter will take place on Tuesday, June 7th, with kick-off scheduled for 7.45pm BST.
