When is the Rugby League World Cup Final 2022?

We've had to wait twelve months longer than we had hoped, but the Rugby League World Cup is finally here!

Host nation England will get the tournament underway on Saturday afternoon, as they take on dark horses Samoa at St James Park in Newcastle.

Defending champions Australia are heavily favoured with the bookmakers to pick up the title for a third consecutive tournament, but when will that final take place?

Here is everything you need to know about the 2022 Rugby League World Cup final.

When is the Rugby League World Cup final?

The 2022 Rugby League World Cup final will take place on Saturday, November 19th in a blockbuster double-header at Old Trafford, Manchester.

The women's final will take place first, with the two remaining sides in the competition set to take to the pitch at 1:15 pm GMT.

This match will be followed by the men's final, which will also take place at the home of Manchester United. This match will begin at 4:00 pm GMT.

Who will play in the Rugby League World Cup final?

The Rugby League World Cup is yet to begin and therefore we are unsure as to who will be competing in this year's final.

However based on this year's draw, it looks as though it will be either Australia or New Zealand coming through one-half of the draw, with England, Tonga and Samoa favoured in the alternate route to the final.

Despite being the two favourites for the competition, it is highly unlikely that we see Australia take on New Zealand in this year's final, as the two are almost certain to win their respective groups, which would result in a semi-final meeting.
