The 2022 Laver Cup is nearly here with tennis fanatics looking forward to watching some of the sport's biggest stars in action this weekend.
Friday, September 23rd will represent the first match of the 2022 Laver Cup with the competition set to run until Sunday, September 25th when the winning team will be crowned.
As is traditional for the tournament, the 2022 Laver Cup teams have been separated into Team Europe and Team World with the players for each side already decided.
This year's Laver Cup will represent the final competitive outing for legendary figure Roger Federer, who announced his pending retirement from tennis last week.

Six players will compete full-time for Team Europe at the Laver Cup in 2022 with Matteo Berrettini serving as the alternate option for the team.
