Rory McIlroy arrives in Scotland as the bookmakers favourite at 11/1, those odds slashed as a result of his victory at the Candian Open last month. World No.1 Scottie Scheffler and PGA Champion Justin Thomas are among those following closely behind at 12s.

British favourite Matthew Fitzpatrick has also seen his odds slashed, as he takes to the course for the first time since claiming victory at the US Open a fortnight ago.

Each way value can be found in Colin Morikawa (30/1) and Viktor Hovland (35/1). Whilst the pair have struggled for consistency on the tour in 2022 thus far, they are far better players than those odds suggest.

Sahith Theegala (90/1) will be hoping to put the pain of the Travelers Championship behind him, as he let victory slip out of the palm of his hands following a double-bogey at the 18th on Sunday evening,
