Birmingham is currently playing host to the 2022 Commonwealth Games as athletes from a multitude of sports and disciplines compete for medals.
Friday will usher in the first rounds of the men's 4x100m relay and the women's 1500m and 100m hurdles events, as well as netball, hockey and wrestling.
