The Sims community has long-awaited news on The Sims 5 but to no avail. In fairness, to EA they continue to freshen up The Sims 4 with their recent Snowy Escape Expansion Pack proving a hit with fans.
However, finally it looks like we have some remnants of news, as an online retailer has listed The Sims 5 on their site! Keep reading to find out more.
The Sims 5 Listed on Instant Gaming
That's right, online gaming outlet, Instant Gaming, has listed The Sims 5 on their site.
Of course, it's not available to pre-order yet, but it does seem to give a few things away.
Release Date Leaked?
As you can see from the listing above, Instant Gaming has The Sims 5 pegged for a 2021 release date.
It's fair to say that gamers were getting worried about the lack of news on a new Sims title, but this leak gives us hope of a new game next year.
The 2021 release date aligns with The Official PlayStation Magazine, which listed a few of the games we can expect to release on the PS5 console, including The Sims 5!
If each of these leaks is to be believed, then the new game should arrive next year.
Official Artwork?
As you also would have noticed, Instant Gaming's listing includes some artwork.
This artwork will not be the final cover art for EA's new title, in fact, the image of the clustered Sims has already been used on the PC and Mac version of The Sims 4.
