The foundation of a good life in The Sims 4 is to have a home that you enjoy spending time in.
One of the first things many players embark upon when first playing the game is placing items exactly where they want, taking full advantage of build mode.
Moving items around and rotating them into the right spot can be a daunting process for some, so we've created a guide to assist the entire process!
Check out how to move all of your personal items, objects and furniture below.
How to Move Items
PLAY GOD: Create your dream home by placing items wherever you want!
It will be easy to move all of your couches, tables and chairs into your rooms once you know how it's done.
You'll also need to know how to rotate and turn the item to find the perfect fit.
Note that you'll need to be in build mode to be able to select items in your house or buy new items.
Left-clicking an item will select it so you can move it around the room.
Once you've selected an item, there are two different but equally effective ways to rotate it:
The first way is to left-click on an item, then right-click to rotate it 45 degrees clockwise.
The other way is to left-click on an item, and click the comma or full stop keys to rotate it clockwise or counterclockwise.
And that's all there is to it!
