The Sims 4's Snowy Escape Map Leaked by lilsimsie

EA's announcement yesterday brought joy to the Sims community as a new Expansion Pack was confirmed for The Sims 4 called Snowy Escape.

EA released some new artwork for the upcoming DLC and it looks to have confirmed a recent leak to be real!

Nobody thought much of Youtuber lilsimsie's leak when they explored a potential new map for The Sims 4. But now fans have been taking to Reddit in excitement as it looks like the leak could be real!

UH OH: Has lilsimsie accidently leaked the Snowy Escape map?

The biggest giveaway is obviously the snowy mountains at the back of the map which could host the wintery activities on display in the official artwork.

However, another massive clue is the Asian-style tower to the back left of the map - it looks to match up with the tower in the official artwork for the new Expansion Pack!

If this map is a genuine leak, what can we work out about the new DLC?

Reddit Reactions

Well, many Simmers have taken to Sims Reddit to discuss what the new map leak might reveal.

Reddit user u/trulyanonymis, said: "It looks like it’s a normal world (livable) with some vacation lots (same concept as Outdoor Retreat). I also think there are 14 lots".

If this is the case, the Expansion Pack might work similarly to the recent Journey to Batuu star Wars themed pack, in which you can visit the new map for a Snowy Escape...

On another thread, u/Lola101_ thinks "this expansion would fit in perfectly for vacationing during winter on the New Years weekend or Winterfest".

Can I watch the livestream leak?

Well there's still some debate as to where this leak actually came from.

However, lilsimsie has since removed the stream from which the leak was supposedly found in, so you won't be able to watch the actual video.
