Counting down to the start of The Sims Sessions event

The Sims 4 has come a long way since its launch with new updates and DLCs, as well as a multitude of patches. This being said, the substantial content is not usually free. This is why The Sims Sessions is so exciting. It will be here very soon so you might want to prep.

Here's what you should know coming up to the official release.

Latest - Live in a Few Hours

The latest Sims event is mere hours away now. Make sure to get the game booted up and ready to go.

Expect updates here as the event goes live.

Sims Sessions Release Date & Start Time

Luckily for us, this information was officially revealed on The Sims site so no speculation is needed.

The event is due to go live at 10 am PT / 6 pm BST and will end on 10 pm PT / 6 am BST on July 7/8th. If it doesn't start immediately, give the servers a few minutes and they should sort themselves out.

The new update launches today on June 29th. After weeks of build-up, it's exciting to say it's finally almost here.

What Is It?

The Sims Sessions is a music festival set entirely within The Sims. When you arrive, you should expect to see performances from Bebe Rexha, Glass Animals, and Joy Oladokun over the week or so it goes on for.

If music isn't really your thing, you can hang out in the camping area or set up your own stall to sell your wares. There appears to be plenty to do.

Download Size

The download size of the latest update isn't clear just yet. Most of the data could already be on your game from recent updates or a brand new one might come tonight. Either way, this means you can't preload it.

This could mean no wait or download is needed before you go in, a nice surprise.

Patch Notes

It is also unsure if we are getting any patches or updates with a download for the festival. If anything is patched or updated, we will let you know right here.
