Resident Evil 8 Multiplayer Leaked By Humble Bundle

Capcom is due to host the RE Showcase later today, giving players the first look at the gameplay for the upcoming Resident Evil 8.

It is also expected that more announcements and news will be made, possibly about the rumoured RE4 Remake, as well as the upcoming movies and manga.

Resident Evil 8 Multiplayer Leaked

Ahead of the RE Showcase, it was reported that a change had been made to the Steam store page, adding the multiplayer tag.

Now it seems that Humble Bundle have one-upped Steam and just leaked the multiplayer aspect of the game.

Like Resident Evil Resistance and RE3, the multiplayer game will come bundled with Resident Evil 8.

The title of this new multiplayer game is Resident Evil Re:Verse.

Wario 64 leaked the information, along with the logo for the new game.

The description on Humble Bundle for the game reads,

Experience survival horror like never before in the eighth major installment in the storied Resident Evil franchise - Resident Evil Village.

The official website for the game was also revealed as www.residentevil.com/reverse, however, this website isn't active at the time of writing.

It will likely go live once the showcase event has finished later tonight.

It is quite difficult to figure out what sort of game Re:Verse could be, it doesn't look styled in the usual way we'd expect.

Beta

Starting on January 28th, there will be a new beta for Resident Evil Re:Verse.

At the time of the email, Capcom were calling it an unannounced multiplayer Resident Evil game, but now we know it will be Re:Verse.

This beta will only be available to current Resident Evil Ambassador members.

Members will be able to sign up from January 14th-25th for a chance at earning a key to take part.

There will also be three deadlines to apply, meaning if players don't get selected the first time they can apply again.

Here are the deadlines:

• 1st Deadline: January 20, 9:59AM (EST) / 6:59AM (PST)
• Announcement: January 22, 3AM (EST) / 12AM (PST)
• 2nd Deadline: January 25, 9:59AM (EST) / 6:59AM (PST)
• Announcement: January 27, 3AM (EST) / 12AM (PST)
