Following his New Balance collaboration which saw the debut of the baby blue "Inside Voices" 9060s, Joe Freshgoods is readying the release of a new Old Skool collection in partnership with Vans.
Their upcoming arrival sees them join a long list of Vans collaborations this year, which is set to include the new "Hellfire Club" Old Skools inspired by the hit Netflix show Stranger Things.
Not only that, but Vans has already released Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Sk8-His featuring graphics from the Japanese tokusatsu television series in June, making 2022 an exciting time to be a fan of Vans trainers.
However, while there are plenty of great Vans collaborations out there right now, we're focusing solely on the Joe Freshgoods Old Skools in this article. With that in mind, here's everything we know about the shoes so far...
When Is The Joe Freshgoods x Vans Old Skool Release Date?
This Vans Old Skool collection arrived on 1 July 2022 exclusively at the Every Now And Then pop-up shop in Chicago, IL.
However, according to Joe Freshgoods on Instagram, the sneakers launched globally on 14 July 2022.
That means they're out now if you're looking to secure a pair. Make sure you act fast to pick up your sneakers before they sell out though.
Joe Freshgoods x Vans Old Skool Design
There have been very few images of the Old Skool collection so far, with Joe Freshgoods only revealing a brief glimpse of what the three expected colourways will look like.
As seen in the image above, pink, red, and peach pairs are set to debut, each of which features a checkerboard pattern across the sides.
The sneakers also include Joe Freshgoods' initials and sit on top of vulcanised rubber outsoles topped with yellow stripes to complete the classic skate design.
The Old Skools are then expected to arrive in custom pink shoe boxes with “Everything Happens For A Reason” printed along the side to complete the collaboration.
Joe Freshgoods x Vans Old Skool Price
Much like the release date, there's been no news on how much a pair of Joe Freshgoods Old Skools will cost.
However, it's worth noting that Old Skool Vans cost somewhere in the region of $50. This should provide some indication as to how much the Joe Freshgoods sneakers retail for upon their arrival.
