With the 2022 tournament on the horizon, rumours of what 2018 winners France's kits may look like have begun to circulate, but with Nike revealing its full World Cup kit lineup, we now have a first look at France's new strips.
Given the nation's previous success, France is among the favourites for this year's tournament alongside 2021 Copa América champions Argentina, whose World Cup kits have also been released.
A World Cup win is notoriously difficult to defend, but by the looks of France's new kits, they'll no doubt look fantastic in their attempt, especially if they're paired with some of the best football boots around right now.
With that in mind, here's everything we know about France's 2022 World Cup kits so far...
France 2022 World Cup Kit Release Date
Those not signed up to Nike will be able to cop the kits on 21 September 2022 instead, a little over two months away from the start of the competition.
France 2022 World Cup Kit Designs
The first official photos of France's World Cup kits have been revealed by Nike, with the home kit arriving in dark blue with golden accents, specifically the badge and branding.
This means Nike will likely be dropping the white accents seen on the 2020-21 home strip, and will instead release something more akin to the 2012 France jersey. The kit also features a buttoned collar, again like the 2012 design.
In terms of the away kit, the shirt features an almost all-white design; however, in the background, you may notice a very feint light grey smoke-like pattern wrapping around the shirt.
The kit then features the France badge and branding in blue to tie the home and away jersey together.
