When Is The Air Jordan 1 Mid Bred Toe Release Date? Here's What We Know

share to other networks share to twitter share to facebook

The Air Jordan 1 Mid is back in another iteration of the "Bred Toe" colourway last seen in 2018, leaving many fans hoping for a release at Nike soon.

Jordan is never one to shy away from returning to the classic "Bred" and "Chicago" colours, especially for a Jordan 1 release, which is why we'll also be getting reimagined "Chicago" Highs and "Reverse Black Toe" Lows later this year as well.

That said, we're focusing solely on the "Bred Toe" mid-tops in this article. So, without further delay, let's get into it...

When Is The Air Jordan 1 Mid Bred Toe Release Date?

Despite Nike officially revealing the sneakers, the brand is yet to announce when exactly they'll be released, and whether they'll be available in full family sizing.

However, reports suggest these sneakers will arrive at some point in 2022, perhaps even in the coming weeks, although the latter seems to just be speculation at this stage.

Interestingly, the original "Bred Toe" Mids from 2018 dropped on 24 February. While there isn't much to go on from this, it could give us a rough idea of the 2022 iterations' arrival date.

With more information likely to be revealed soon, make sure you check back in to keep up-to-date with the latest announcements right here.

Air Jordan 1 Mid Bred Toe Design

Jordan's use of the infamous Bull's colours over the years has led to many "Bred" and "Chicago" themed sneakers featuring as some of the best Jordan 1 colourways around.

We'd argue these 2022 "Bred Toe" Mids are no exception to this.

The base of the sneakers are made from white leather, which is then contrasted by black leather overlays across the heels, collars, eyestays, and toe caps.

Bright red tones then dress the toe boxes and Swooshes as well as elements of the collars and the fabric tongues. This is a slight contrast to the 2018 model which came with black Swooshes instead.

The Jumpman logo can then be found on the tongue patches and insoles, again dressed in red much like the 'Wings' insignias debossed on the ankles.

The sneakers then sit on top of Nike Air technology encapsulated by the white rubber midsoles, thus rounding off these Jordan 1s in the customary fashion.

Air Jordan 1 Mid Bred Toe Price

Similar to the release date, not much is known about the cost of these "Bred Toe" Mids at this stage in time.

Based on the 2018 release though, we'd expect a men's pair of these Jordan's to retail for around $160, with smaller and subsequently cheaper kids sizes likely to be made available.

This is just speculation on our behalf though, so stay tuned for further price updates right here.

Where To Buy The Air Jordan 1 Mid Bred Toe

We believe one of the first places you'll find a listing for these "Bred Toe" Mids will be at the Nike store under the new releases, Jordan, or basketball subsection.

We'd also recommend signing up for the push notifications as soon as the listing goes live on the SNKRS page or App to ensure you're completely prepared for their upcoming arrival.

You could also keep an eye on the resale market at StockX if your initial attempt at purchasing a pair is unsuccessful on release day.
