When Is The Next Rainbow Six Free Weekend?

Rainbow Six Siege was released many years back in April of 2015 and it would be fair to say that the game has gone from strength to strength with every year that has passed.

New maps, operators and even the odd new mode has kept players busy and coming back for more.

It's arguably one of the most enjoyable gameplay loops currently available to anyone with a love of first-person shooters.

If you've never played the game before, the below video should give you a quick overview of everything you need to know; including all the essential details you'll need before taking your first steps into Rainbow Six Siege.

When Is The Next Rainbow Six Siege Free Weekend?

Let's cut to the chase. You like what you've seen but you're a cheapskate and you don't fancy forking out for the game.

That's fair enough. Some people like to trial a game before handing over their hard-earned cash, even if the game is only around £5 on most stores these days.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege is also available on Xbox Game Pass, if you happen to have a subscription. It's not currently on PS Now at the time of writing but has been in the past so could return.

If you don't have £5 or a subscription to Game Pass or PS Now, you'll have to wait unfortunately.

From memory, the last time Rainbow Six Siege was free to play was back in August.

The game was available to play for free on Xbox One, PS4 and PC for one week to commemorate the launch of Operation Shadow Legacy - which added Sam "Zero" Fisher to the game.

With Rainbow Six Siege Year Six set to arrive in a few weeks, we can certainly envisage a new free weekend or week to help onboard some new players to the game.

Stay tuned for details.
