Siege Y6S4 LIVE UPDATES: Release Time, Download Size, & Patch Notes

It's update day! Rainbow Six Siege's Operation High Calibre is slated to start today and we have everything you need to know about the Y6S4 content drop and live updates on everything that crops up throughout the Server Downtime and into the next season of Siege content.

First, let's start with the details...

UPDATE TIME - When does the update drop?

Rainbow Six Siege's Y6S4 update is going to be released and available to download at the following times:

  • PC (Steam, Uplay, Luna, Stadia)
    • 06:00 PST / 09:00 EST / 14:00 GMT
  • Xbox (One, Series X|S)
    • 07:00 PST / 10:00 EST / 15:00 GMT
  • PlayStation (4, 5)
    • 08:00 PST / 11:00 EST / 16:00 GMT

You won't be able to play it straight away, though - there's going to be an hour of Server Downtime on each platform, at least, to allow everyone to update and get ready.

Siege rarely goes over their hour-long allocated Server Downtime, but the official social media channels will be worth keeping an eye on - just in case.

DOWNLOAD SIZE - How much storage space will you need?

Siege updates are far from the largest we've ever seen, but it's still important to make note of how much storage space you're going to need. Thankfully, they're all around the same size - and this isn't anything much larger than the last Siege update, for reference.

Here's how much storage space you'll need, depending on your platform:

  • Steam - 4.8GB
  • Uplay - 5.4GB
  • Xbox One - 4.1GB
  • Xbox Series X|S - 4.3GB
  • PlayStation 4 - 4.4GB
  • PlayStation 5 - 4.1GB
