A New Operator is on the way to Rainbow Six Siege in Y6S1!

Operation Neon Dawn added Defender Aruni to the roster and now Operation Crimson Heist is bringing in Flores as an Attacker to balance the sides.

Here's everything we know about Flores, who is coming to Siege as a new Operator in Y6S1.

Flores' Backstory

Flores is an Argentina-born medium speed, medium armour, Operator that's coming to the growing Rainbow Six Siege roster in Y6S1.

Real name Santiago Lucero, Flores enjoys telling tales of his heroics in Buenos Aires and Los Angeles to the other Operators and has a knack for DIY Electronics.

Here, we have an excerpt from Gridlock on what she thinks of Flores...

In general, I’d say he’s a good mate. A bit awkward, but he listens when others speak, which is more than I can say for a lot of people. Every night he calls home to talk to his husband, but he’s very private about their relationship (with me at least). He cares about people in general, but his marriage is on another level. Even when he takes off his ring, it never leaves his person.

Whatever the other Operators think about his stories, Flores brings an invaluable asset to Rainbow's team: his Explosive Drone.

Explosive Drone Gadget

The thing that makes Flores unique as a new Operator is his gadget.

Formally known as the RCE-Ratero, Flores' Explosive Drone is going to change the meta for sure!

He starts with four RCE-Ratero's and Two Standard Drones, making them an important part of his gameplay.

Each drone can be driven for ten seconds before a three-second countdown will occur prior to the explosion. This can be activated early if you need it to be and the drone will become bulletproof during the countdown.

Although they cannot be deployed while on a Rappel Rope, or drive in reverse, they can jump which will undoubtedly make them a harder target for Defenders to hit.

They offer soft destruction damage to the environment when triggered and can take out bulletproof gadgets like Deployable Shields, too.

Primary & Secondary Weapons

In addition to his Drones, Flores comes with two options for his primary weapon.

Both the AR33 and SR-25 are available to him and his secondary weapon is the GSH-18.

Ubisoft has also unveiled some Operator balances on the way in their latest Designer's Notes here.

Operation Crimson Heist is due to begin on March 18th, 2021, and will introduce Flores to the Rainbow Six Siege roster.
