The @PS5StockAlertUK Twitter account has signified that a large shipment of PS5 physical disc units is set to be available later this week.
If you're still searching for a console, this may be the best chance to grab one until the end of the year, with shortages set to continue into 2022.
The retailer in question is once again, Argos. They have taken delivery of 10,000 PS5 consoles. None of which are the digital only model. The release of the consoles is set to take place over the next week.
Argos are yet to comment whether this will be via stock being put online or people required to physically check their local stock as has happened in the past. Their last drop was tiny, but people acquired the PS5 consoles by just walking into their local store and asking if they had any.
The announcement comes off the back of a prediction they made back in May. While Argos have had limited stock to sell since, this is their first major restock of this size in a very long time.
It also begs the question regarding other retailers. Should we expect the likes of Game and AO to receive more units soon also? That is yet to be confirmed but keep an eye out just in case.
