PS5 News Today: Stock should be coming soon

PS5 Stock Update

Once again, it's going to be a tough day if you're looking to get your hands on a PS5 console.

Although we're not expecting any drops today, given the fact that it is Easter Monday, there are reports that GAME, Very AND Smyths could be releasing stock soon.

These usually go live in the mornings from 08:00 BST onwards so be sure to keep an eye out on those sites for then in the next few days.

Alternatively, you can always get your hands on a second-hand console from CEX or eBay. This will be an inflated price and you'll need to be careful about what you're getting, though.

PS Plus Tomorrow

It's almost time for April 2021's PS Plus games to go live!

This means that from tomorrow, you'll be able to get your hands on Days Gone and Zombie Army 4: Dead War for free on PS4.

In addition to this, you'll be able to grab the brand-new Oddworld: Soulstorm on PS5 for free too. If you're a PS4 owner, a free upgrade is available for when you want to upgrade but it might be worth claiming this month's PS Plus version and holding out.

New Game News

There isn't a whole lot of news regarding new titles today, however, it was Aloy's birthday yesterday!

Horizon Forbidden West is a long way out yet, but you can look forward to playing Horizon Zero Dawn for free as part of PlayStation's Play At Home Initiative on April 16th.

Other than this, the next major new title to launch on the PS5 will be Destruction AllStars when it leaves PS Plus on April 6th. From April 7th, it will be on the PS Store as a digital-only title.

Crypt of the NecroDancer is coming on April 9th alongside Bladed Fury and DOOM 3 VR is out on April 16th!

Game Updates

FIFA 21 is still going through its FUT Birthday celebrations with new daily SBCs and Objectives to complete for a chance at getting some hugely upgraded cards in-game.

In addition to this, the PS5 has been named the official console of the NBA 2K League. This means there are more exclusive online fan tournaments coming and a lot more in the future as this is reportedly a multi-year deal!
