In an unreal surprise, it was announced that Knights of the Old Republic is receiving a remake on PS5. The trailer came during the PlayStation Showcase and left the internet STUNNED.

KOTOR Remake Announced
In what was simply a short reveal trailer, the game was announced and took the world by surprise.
In a show that included a new Spider-Man, Wolverine and God of War game, the KOTOR announcement stood out among them come the end of the show.
The game seemed to be a PS5 exclusive but it has since been confirmed that it is a timed-exclusive. This means that the game will eventually come to other platforms after its exclusive period ends.
Sony had the following to say on their website following the reveal;
'Why remake Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic? Well, nearly 20 years after it first debuted, the original KOTOR is still one of the most beloved games of all time. And even as Star Wars travels to new horizons, we know the community is as eager as ever to return to this iconic era of storytelling and action.'
